About this episode
The official voyage had lasted seven and a half months, from March 16th to November 1st, 1901. Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of York had visited Malta, Aden, Colombo, and Ceylon before moving on to Singapore and Australia, with stopovers in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. From this long expedition, they brought back trunks full of official presents. One such gift was brought to Boucheron on April 21, 1902.
