The comfortable,

The routines,

The mundane.

We can easily overlook their importance,

And their ability to stabilize, 

And ground us. 

It’s only when they no longer exist,

That we miss them, 

And realize their importance. 

So allow your body to settle,

And your mind to relax.

Breathe…

And with each exhale,

Let go of any tension,

And melt further into comfort.

I revel in the mundane.
