29: Mein Fahrrad ist kaputt | My bicycle...

German-Stories.com
About this episode

Make appointments, read the traditional analog clock (tell the time) & possessive pronouns: mein(e), Ihr(e).

Paul had to get out of the apartment to clear his head. He’s walking to Tim's bike repair shop because he wants to ask him about the book. He also needs his bicycle fixed. But he forgot about Fritz who arrives at Pauls apartment to help him. He now stands in front of closed doors, and tells Paul in a slightly angry phone call that he doesn’t want to help anymore. Paul finds out that Tim is not at work. He is on vacation and will be back tomorrow. He drops off his bike and walks home in the rain. He thinks he might find Laura on Facebook. How did Fritz want to help? Will he be promoted? Why didn't Laura show up at Paul’s party, and why did she delete her profile? Can Paul find her online?

Why we made German Stories

We felt that the best way to learn German is NOT using the old style teaching material with chapters full of tiny texts and unrelated stories. Our idea was to spoon-feed you German in very small bits. And to tell you parts of one big story at the same time. An awesome, full-blown story with different storylines that continues throughout all lessons. We wanted to keep you motivated and say "I can't wait to find out what happens next episode!"
