Magical Messi & Mesmerising Mbappe!

Talksport
About this episode
Hugh Woozencroft is joined by the former England defender Stuart Pearce and talkSPORT commentator Nigel Adderley to look back at Saturday's World Cup action. They discuss a wonderful bit of individual brilliance from Lionel Messi, which helped Argentina beat Mexico, and they discuss just how far Kylian Mbappe can go with France after his brace helped them beat Denmark 2-1 and saw him move alongside Pele as the only people to score 7 or more World Cup goals before the age of 25. Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen looks ahead to a huge game against Australia next week, whilst the Socceroos Head Coach Graham Arnold warns his players of getting too excited after they beat Tunisia in the day's early kick-off. And we end the show by looking ahead to a huge game, as Germany face Spain, knowing that a defeat could see them knocked out of the World Cup at the Group Stages for the second consecutive tournament.
