Potty Training with Lisa Sherington-Boyd...

MOTHER TONGUE
About this episode

This week we’re talking about a BIG topic when it comes to toddlers - Potty Training.

The amazing Lisa Sherington-Boyd aka Principal Lisa aka The Potty Queen joins us to reveal the secrets to transitioning your little one from nappies to the potty.

We have so many questions! Is a toddler ever really ‘ready' for the potty and how do we spot the signs? What kind of language can we use to encourage our children to feel safe and comfortable with poop talk? What are the best books to read? Should we go straight to the toilet or always start with the potty?

With a career in childcare spanning 34 years, Lisa has done it all when it comes to children. From being a nanny to various families in the UK, to becoming the Principal of a busy nursery school, to being a mum to three children of her own, on today’s episode she shares a wealth of knowledge with us. This is one not to be missed for all parents whether you’re in the potty training phase or not.
