The Fallen Jockey: A talkSPORT Document...

Talksport
About this episode

After Rachel Blackmore's historic Grand National win, horse racing remains under the spotlight for all the right reasons. But in 2020, the sport was hit by a number of tragedies, including the deaths of two much loved jockeys.

Now, further research conducted by the sport's governing bodies, shows that an alarming number of jockeys are seeking help. Horse racing has an underlying problem with mental health, and this Sunday from 9pm, talkSPORT finds out why.

Hosted by Rupert Bell, you'll hear from the likes of Sir AP McCoy, Mick Fitzgerald and Lizzie Kelly, who detail the many stresses that riders face.
