Lou Pearlman was the person behind many successful 1990s boy bands like Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. He was obsessed with making money and took advantage of the bands he was creating. He would pay the band members very little while he was making millions which made the band members upset. Behind the boy band management, he was accused of running a Ponzi scheme with other business ventures.
