About this episode
Ahead of tonight’s game we take a look at Liverpool’s Super Cup opponents, Chelsea. Having suffered their heaviest opening day Premier League defeat going down 4-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford. With the club’s all-time top scorer Frank Lampard now in the dugout, we catch-up with football.london’s Chelsea FC correspondent Oliver Harbord. We talk through a summer of change at Stamford Bridge with the Europa League winners replacing Maurizio Sarri with Lampard. On the pitch, talisman Eden Hazard has also gone with the club unable to bring in a like-for-like replacement due to being under a two-window transfer ban. Who are the young players to be wary of - and will the Blues pose a threat to Jurgen Klopp’s men following their opening day humbling. Enjoy!
