Goals from the outstanding Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk - the former's 14th of the season, taking him to the top of the domestic scoring charts; the latter's first in the league for the club - fired the relentless Reds to a thoroughly deserved 2-0 victory over a Wolves side who are far from mugs.
And what an important victory it was, too, as not only did it ensure Jurgen Klopp's side will be top at Christmas for the first time in five years, but it also ensured the lead over second-placed Manchester City was extended to four points.
