29. Tips for quieting a chatty class

Emily Muccianti
About this episode

The single most important thing you need from your students so that you can teach and they can learn is their attention.  Without it, you are talking to the walls.

When students are distracted, chatty, or down right ignoring you, no learning will occur.  Period.

So how do you redirect a group of students that would rather talk to each other than listen to you?  I’ve got some tips for you today for how to handle a chatty class that you won’t want to miss.
