Wear Sunscreen? This is Required Listeni...

KIRBIE JOHNSON AND SARA TAN
About this episode

Are chemical sunscreens really worse than mineral sunscreens? Are you applying spray sunscreen incorrectly? And what's problematic about the term "reef safe"? We have Menas Kizoulis, Scientific Engagement Director at Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc, the company behind brands like Neutrogena, Aveeno and Neostrata, as our guest today. Menas has invented many patents and conducted clinical research; he knows a lot about sun protection. He's also a melanoma survivor. (Wear your sunscreen and reapply!) Menas answers many questions you submitted via Instagram, including what SPF level is best, how to reapply sunscreen over your makeup and more.

We also discuss what's happening with Susan Yara and her brand Naturium, plus two new launches from Glossier and Kosas.
