. بمناسبة شهر رمضان و بما انه شهر للراحة و التواصل مع النفس، قررت أنا و شهد نتكلم معاكم بشكل تلقائي عن أهمية البطء في الحياة و اتخاذ فترات راحة.

.شهد مدربة يوجا، بس في نفس الوقت مش مدربة يوجا. شهد بتحاول تغير مفهوم الناس عن اليوجا و الحركة من خلال محتوى سهل و غير معقد. مش بتحاول تعملنا .اشكال و اوضاع غريبة على صفحتها و بجد بتحاول تقرب للناس فكرة ان اليوجا و الحركة لجميع الناس.

Ramadan Kareem!

In honor of the Holy month of Ramadan we wanted to record something special. And since Ramadan is the month of rest, reconnecting to ourselves and our spirituality, Shahd Omar and I decided we wanted to record a candid and open conversation about the importance of slowing down in life and taking time to rest.

Shahd is one of Mother Being’s core team members. She and Fayrouz are the ones responsible for all the written content we put on our platform as well as a million other things.

Shahd is also a yoga instructor, but at the same time not really a yoga instructor. She’s trying to change people’s understanding of yoga, fitness and movement in general, through creating content on her page that is accessible, approachable and not pretentious at all.

She doesn’t try to film herself in impossible yoga poses, but instead works hard to show people that yoga and movement is for every body.

In this episode we’ll get to know Shahd a little more and we’ll share with you what the Mother Being team has decided to try out during this month to help ourselves connect, nourish and recharge our bodies.
