While Russia’s influence in Ukraine appears to be under pressure, it’s influence on LGBT rights across Eastern Europe does not appear to be slowing. Their anti-gay propaganda bill has already been replicated in Hungary and now Romania has become the latest battleground. Under the guise of protecting children, the bill aims to silence the rainbow community.

Aside from impacts on censorship, health and discrimination, the bill will also stop many support services for the LGBT community. One organisation that will be impacted is MozaiQ Romania and we are joined by Andrei Luca, their Director of Development tonight.
