September 14th: Edward Wheeler Hall  and Eleanor Mills Killed (1922)
Sensationalism and the media can warp and alter a case right before our very eyes. On September 14th 1922 a couple was murdered while out on a romantic rendezvous. A case that, at its peak, was all the nation was talking about and splashed across almost every front page in 1926.
