DOJ Ordered to Release Redacted Mar-a-La...

CNN
About this episode

A federal judge has ordered the redacted Mar-a-Lago search warrant affidavit to be released by Friday at noon. Justice Department Spokesman Anthony Coley says: “The United States has filed a submission under seal per the Court’s order of Aug. 22. The Justice Department respectfully declines further comment as the Court considers the matter.”

Meanwhile, President Biden decries “semi-fascism” beneath “extreme MAGA philosophy”. As the midterm elections approach, candidates share their stances on abortion, the economy, and Trump. President Biden will make a wide-ranging case for Democrats as he gives a significant political speech at a Democratic National Committee rally in Maryland Thursday evening.

Plus, Biden gets mixed reviews on his decision to cancel $10,000 in debt for those making less than $125,000 a year, and CNN talks to a teacher who resigned over an Oklahoma law requiring teachers to censor books.
