جاءت من بلد الحرب امرأة مطلقة وأما لطفل، لجأت إلى ألمانيا باحثة عن السلام والنجاح لكن الأبواب لم تكن مفتوحة في وجهها. تحدت طرفة العائلة وبعدها المجتمع ومن ثمة البلد الجديد واللغة التي لم تكن تفهم منها حرفا، تحدت العالم لتؤسس اليوم حياة هادئة عمادها الإرادة.
