About this episode

We are at war right now. In this time period the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and others have joined the list of unarmed black people who've been wrongfully killed at the hands of the police + white vigilantes. In a country that prides itself on offering "justice for all" what's become increasingly apparent is how unjust black people are treated in Amerikkka, a country ruled by systematic racism. This episode is intense and includes a portion of a grief circle held to acknowledge the pain that we, women, mothers, daughters, sisters and grand-daughters hold for those who have fallen.
