James Forsythe was a young American soldier bunkered down with his battalion in a Belgian village anxiously awaiting the arrival of the German troops. Enormously out-gunned and outnumbered, all but 5 of his team were killed within minutes of the onslaught. This is Part 2 of Forsythe's sobering memoirs as a German POW in World War 2.
Lasting six brutal weeks, from December 16, 1944, to January 25, 1945, the assault of the Battle of the Bulge, also called the Battle of the Ardennes, is considered the greatest American battle of the war.
