This week, Amber is joined by Shantanu Kulshreshth, a student from Ashoka University, and a man of many talents, to get a young millennial perspective on environment protection in India, something Shantanu is very passionate about. They talk about the EIA Bill (Environmental Impact Assessment Bill), why it exists and what it is supposed to do. They also talk about the 2020 draft of the bill including some of it's severely problematic parts, get into a discussion on dams and laws pertaining to them, why dams are more problematic than they're worth, and discuss other environmental issues faced by India. All this and lots more on this episode.
