L'imitation au Québec

About this episode

Quand on parle d’imitateurs québécois, on pense inévitablement aux Cyniques, à André-Philippe Gagnon, à Marc Labrèche ou encore à Pierre Brassard. En compagnie de ce dernier, Laurent Turcot s’intéresse au concept de l’imitation – la mimêsis –, qui faisait déjà débat dans l’Antiquité. Il brosse ensuite le portrait de l’histoire de cette forme d’humour au Québec, en s’attardant particulièrement aux Cyniques, qui ont ouvert la voie aux imitations décomplexées des politiciens et politiciennes.
