CNN
About this episode

The Washington Post reports the DOJ is investigating Trump’s actions in a January 6 criminal probe, subpoenaing top Pence aides Marc Short and Greg Jacob to testify before a Grand Jury, for hours of detailed questioning about meetings the then president led in December 2020 and January 2021. Attorney General Garland has faced criticism for his handling of the January 6 investigation - do these moves make it clear he’s moving closer to prosecuting Trump?

Elizabeth Weller lost her baby girl due to a premature rupture of membranes at 18-weeks and was initially denied life-saving medical care due to a Texas abortion law. She joins to tell Laura her story. Plus, former acting defense secretary Chris Miller denies Trump ordered protection for the Capitol on January 6, and CNN Supreme Court Analyst Joan Biskupic joins to discuss the inside story of Justice Roberts’ efforts to save abortion rights.

Hosted by Laura Coates.
