Ron welcomes retired basketball coach Mike Montgomery to the show to talk about his childhood in Long Beach, what drew him to basketball, and his legendary coaching career. While best know for his 18-year tenure at Stanford where he led the program to 12 NCAA Tournaments, Coach Montgomery also served as head coach at the University of Montana, University of California (Berkeley), and the Golden State Warriors. Over his 32-year collegiate coaching career, Montgomery made 16 NCAA Tournaments, captured 6 conference championships, and amassed nearly 700 victories.
