Founder of The Modist - the first global e-commerce platform offering luxury fashion to women who prefer to dress modestly - and Co-founder of Queen Mode NFT collection, Ghizlan is breaking barriers for women in Web 3.0! She is also the Co-creator of SAWA - an initiative that supports young creatives in the Middle East region through a yearly pop up market at the trendy Al Serkal Avenue.
This year, taking advantage of her active community and platform, she created for her avid listeners and fans a business guide program of courses called FForce.
In 2020, at the start of the Covid 19 Pandemic, Ghizlan had to deal with an entrepreneur's worst nightmare and closed her business. I discuss with her about this difficult phase, how she managed it, what advise she has for others that are also faced with such difficult choices.
We also talk about fundraising, managing your board, choosing a co founder and all things startup!
Now in mid 2022, Ghizlan has relaunched along with her partner, Hajar Ouhsin, the comeback of The Modist reincarnated into a new marketplace with Web 3.0 technology.
