Ep. 319 Speak English Like a Native Engl...

BRENT
About this episode

In this English lesson, you will learn two phrases that only native English speakers say: "I'm not a ____ guy" and "When in Rome..." It is helpful to know how to use these two sayings if you would like to sound more natural when you speak English or when you hear native English speakers talk.

If you are going on a road trip and you're learning English, this video will be very helpful to you. In English, we will often add the preposition, up, to a verb, to shorten the amount of words we have to say. For instance, gas up or fill up are very common English phrasal verbs when talking about going on a road trip.  By the end of this lesson, you will feel more comfortable speaking in English when your need to talk about taking a road trip or driving somewhere in a car.
