Before beginning Mummy March, and our look at the classic Brendan Frasier trilogy of the 00's, it is only fitting we do some filmic archaeology of our own and look back on the classic Universal original: "The Mummy". Featuring a wrinkly Boris Karloff, a returning Edward Van Sloan from Dracula, and a powerfully compelling Zita Johann, where exactly does this sit among the Universal greats? I sure hope things don't get problematic at all...
