Some travelers attempt to combine a trip to the Galapagos with a visit to Machu Picchu in Peru, but Dunn advises against this, believing that these bucket-list destinations need to be seen on their own so that the traveler can gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of their respective cultures and sights.
