In Episode 17 we talk to Gareth Lloyd, the Marketing Manager for UK & Ireland for Saucony, the footwear and apparel brand that builds goodness into every product and has been inviting millions around the world to run for over 120 years!

This is also the first in our Brand Spotlight episodes which focuses on brands in the running world and how they have made a difference to the running landscape and industry. Saucony was founded in 1898 and have evolved from a local factory in the suburbs of Boston, USA to a global brand.

If you’re like me and have also struggled a bit with the pronunciation it is pronounced SOCK – A - KNEE! and we’ll find out from Gareth over the next 30 mins or so how their product designs have always been “distinctly Saucony”, from the classic Jazz born in 1981, through to the today’s Kinvara and Endorphin shoes. 

We’ll also look into the future and unearth how Saucony sees the future of footwear, sustainability and the running community.
