About this episode
On this month’s episode, Dr. Shari Dade sits down for a wellness conversation with Dr. Kavitha Reddy. Dr. Reddy is the Associate Director of Employee Whole Health within VHA Office of Patient-Centered Care and Cultural Transformation. She carries a previous leadership role as Whole Health Clinical Director at St. Louis VA, one of the 18 flagship sites for whole health system deployment.

In this conversation, Kavitha share the missteps leaders can make when navigating the challenge of integrating whole health into our work lives. Listen in to uncover the key lessons that were hiding behind this leader’s missteps.

Key Lessons:
1.Knowing wellness is important is one thing, however leaders must be intentional about taking steps to intentionally implement wellness into their daily lives.
2.Focus less on achieving work/life balance and strive for integrating wellness into your work like. Integration is key!
3.Check inward and ask yourself if you are creating pressure by setting self-imposed deadlines or holding yourself to unrealistic expectations.

Practice some self-care and wellness by kicking back and tuning in to Kavitha Reddy’s recommendation of Bob Marley’s “One Love” for some relaxation!
