Episode 145 Part One: Herman's Hermits

Sam Williams
About this episode
I hope you guys are having fun on your summer vacations, this week I'm covering a band that I'm sure you might be surprised I haven't done on my podcast before, they were another band that was VERY Big in the 60's that you may know or you may not, but they were a band that was a part of the "British Invasion", and it has been a while for me since I have done a British Invasion band on my podcast, and this one was a HUGE one, and they fell into this very finite category of the "British Invasion" and they were definitely HUGE both in the US and the UK. this week I'm dissecting one of their best songs and talking about what makes this song so good both musically and lyrically, and next week, I'm gonna dive into the history behind last week's song & band, but for now you can enjoy this week's song just in case you wanted to hear the whole thing:

PLEASE do also check out my first official REAL music video, I am VERY PROUD of this project because it best represents what this song is about & I personally LOVE the song that the video is for, and the actors in this video did a GREAT job in this video, and the director/videographer also did a REALLY great job filming this and directing it and making my vision come to life, if you liked this video and would like to give me some feedback on it, please email me at samltwilli@icloud.com or you can also reach out to me on Instagram @iheartoldies:

would also LOVE it if you could check out my latest EP that I just put out recently, all of these songs mean a lot to me and they represent both my old and my new music, but they are the truest form of expression of who I am as a person on this EP and what I"m all about as an artist. if these songs touched you in anyway and would like to meet me in person if your in LA, or if you like the style of these songs and your a millennial, please email me at samltwilli@icloud.com, or you can also reach out to me on Instagram @iheartoldies:
