This classic comes from the master himself, the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, it was published in 1837, and has been translated into more than 100 languages! Andersen's tale is based on a 1335 story from a medieval Spanish collection, and so we see that some of the best stories in the world are those that are recycled over and over again!
