This week's topic: Parks and gardens! A candidate reported being asked about their hometown, parks and gardens in Part 1 of their IELTS Speaking exam. This week we look at how to respond to these questions at a band 9 level. Here is a transcript of what is heard in this YouTube video: Are there public parks or gardens in your hometown? Yes there are, but we don’t have a big, central park. Instead we have small, neighbourhood squares where the facilities vary.
