Welcome to the lowdown. Near the end of the 2016 Reason Rally American Atheists President David Silverman spoke of the need to identify as an atheist, Representative Tulsi Gabbard spoke of our inclusive Constitution, and I chatted with musician Shelley Segal.
The rally concluded with Bill Nye the Science Guy, freethought philanthropist Todd Stieffel, and powerful performance by the Wu Tang Clan. On the way out we were accosted by a group of Christians, what a wonderful ending to great day!
Stay tuned for our next episode which looks at the mini-convention the day after the main rally. There were celebrities, panels, films, workshops and a rousing entertainment by Sunday Assembly.
