In the latest episode of the Anime to Z podcast, hosts Che Lingo (rapper, musician, anime lover) and Bec Hill (comedian, writer, anime-curious) continue on their epic odyssey discussing the highs, lows and hijinks of historical anime Vinland Saga.
Che reveals the anime series he’s watched most repeatedly and whether he’d survive the battle seas, which prompts Bec to share a seafaring story that’s equal parts hilarious and disgusting - you have been warned!
Meanwhile, they discuss the actors who lend their voices to the series, what they make of the absolute beast that is Thorkell and why Bjorn is growing on them.
After capturing the treasure from the Franks, Askeladd’s men return to the village of Gorm on the Jutland Peninsula in Denmark to pass the winter. Thorfinn challenges Askeladd to a duel as a reward for bringing him the head of the captain of the clan of Franks. Even though Thorfinn has grown in skill through his experience in battle, he is still no match for Askeladd.
