Operated from 1864 until 1994 by the government of the U.S. state of West Virginia, The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum was supposed to be a place of peace and restoration, but it soon devolved into madness and destruction. It is now a hotspot for paranormal activity due to its dark history.
