Join me and my bud Danny as we talk all things 1980's. He gives the argument why this was the best decade the world has ever known. (I mentioned to him things like the great wall being built, the pyramids. He said they were cool, but not they were not the 80's)
From MTV to Nightmare on Elm Street. Family Ties to the Fall Guy. The Go-Go's to the Gummi Bears cartoon. We talk about the decade that defined a generation and one man in particular. He talks about how Regan was bigger than life, his dad having only one film on VHS that he let a then 7yr old watch over and over again, (gulp, it was Scarface) and how being part of the MTV generation influenced him with the values he still lives by in 2020.
Dan is a L.A. native who studied film, worked for Aaron Spelling Productions, and has worked in the indie film world.
If you buy him gummy bears and a super big gulp, he can be persuaded to take you to the "Back to the Future" house (which ironically is located across the street from the house in Teen Wolf) and you can end your day by jumping into the water fountain The Go-Go's jump into at the end of their "Our lips are sealed" video.
