Lesson 40: Advanced English Speaking / I...

Wafa Damlaj
About this episode
Nil was barking up the wrong tree when he brought up to his brother, Carl, about investing in another new business with him. Carl was not even close to partnering up again with him. He didn’t put it past his brother to ruin this new business idea as well due to many reasons. Carl believed that Nil’s business ideas are always clear as mud. For that reason, Nil and Carl's previous company went out of business and they were drowning in debt. After two years of minimum payments, they were able to call it even. Carl didn't want to mess things up again since he already buried the hatchet and most of the things we're starting to work out between both of them. Carl advised Nil that rather than chasing rainbows and believing that a business can be built on its own, Nil should at least conduct market research, write a business plan, compile a financial plan, and set up a legal company before anything else. He assured him that building the right foundation can guarantee the success of a business. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/wafa-damlaj/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/wafa-damlaj/support
