About this episode
It’s almost here. The World Cup is just one day away and here at ChronicleLive Towers, excitement is through the roof for Russia vs Saudi Arabia (does it get any better?)

32 of the world’s best footballing nations descend on to Russia for a whole month of football action in a bid to be crowned Champion of the World.
Ahead of the tournament, we have brought together the two most excited people in the newsroom - Football Publishing Editor Mark Douglas and Football Advance Content writer Sean McCormick - for a special World Cup preview podcast.

The pair discuss England’s chances, their favourite World Cup memories, their favourites to win, dark horses, key players and surprise packages to look out for in Russia.

The team will look to run a weekly podcast throughout the competition as we look to bring in a Newcastle slight on proceedings, (Aleksandar Mitrovic’s performances, potential targets etc) as well as dissecting all the action.

So sit back and join us for this week’s Everything is Black and White World Cup special podcast. Listen by clicking ‘play below’ or head directly to Acast.
