S1 Ep2: Ed Gein, The Butcher of Plainfie...

Audioboom Studios
About this episode
Helen Anderson and Danni Howard travel back in time to rural 1950s America to uncover the horrific crimes of Ed Gein, The Butcher of Plainfield. The infamous inspiration behind all your favourite horror movies, Ed Gein's horrendous crimes against humanity have gone down in infamy. After growing up in rural New Jersey with a puritanical and overbearing mother, Ed took his love for his mother to a whole new level after her death, using the skin from corpses to make his very own mummy... Expect grisly discoveries, ghastly arts and crafts projects, and a whole lot of gore. Devils in The Dark contains graphic details of sexual assault and violence and is not intended for all audiences. Listener discretion is strongly advised.
