For the first time ever both men and women will pool together FIFA World Cup prize money; sharing the spoils equally after United States Women's National Soccer Team reach an agreement with the United States Soccer Federation.


The United States women's national soccer team represents the United States in international women's soccer. The team is the most successful in international women's soccer, winning four Women's World Cup titles, four Olympic gold medals, and eight CONCACAF Gold Cups.


The United States Soccer Federation, commonly referred to as U.S. Soccer, is a 501 nonprofit organization and the official governing body of the sport of soccer in the United States.
