Supreme Tension Over Roe V. Wade

CNN
About this episode

Internal SCOTUS tensions flare as it edges closer to overturning Roe v. Wade, with justices beginning to publicly call each other out on the issue. That, as Oklahoma abortion providers brace for a near-total ban, with Republican Governor Kevin Stitt set to sign a bill that bans the procedure “from fertilization”, and allows civil suits to be brought against anyone helping to access abortion services. Could we see a health care crisis if Roe is overturned?

21-year-old Russian soldier Vadim Shishimarin stands trial in the first war crime case since Russia invaded Ukraine and pleads guilty to shooting an unarmed 62-year-old civilian. CNN Tonight brings you what he had to say in a Kyiv courtroom. Plus, Georgia could see a rematch of the 2018 Abrams/Kemp battle for Governor, and a W.H.O. official is concerned the monkeypox outbreak “could accelerate” this summer. How concerned should Americans be?
