Nothing But Blowouts in the NBA + Club N...

About this episode

On today's show, Jason kicks things off with a few thoughts on what turned out to be a very underwhelming Tuesday night in the NBA. We were all looking forward to a pair of dynamite Game 5's but instead got treated to blockout victories by the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat, respectively. History tells us that whoever wins Game 5 after being tied 2-2 goes on to win the series 82% of the time, so all signs point to the Suns and Heat making the Conference Finals. Later, Club Necaxa co-owner Sam Porter swings by to discuss the ins and outs of owning a soccer club in Liga MX, how he was able to recruit celebrity investors like Shawn Marion and Eva Longoria, the appeal of investing in MLS and Liga MX franchises, what the arrival of Wayne Rooney to the MLS meant to the sport of soccer in the United States, and much more!
