Double-Down on the Cardinals without D-H...

iHeartPodcasts
About this episode

On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a few quick thoughts on DeAndre Hopkins' 6-game suspension for PEDs. While most are ready to jump off the Arizona Cardinals bandwagon, J-Mac says you should double-down and throw even more money down on Cardinals futures bets for the upcoming season. D-Hop is a tremendous player, but unlike last season when he got hurt, the Cardinals have plenty of time to prepare to play without him. Later, Jason explains why he's refusing to pile on James Harden following the Philadelphia 76ers' blowout loss to the Miami Heat in Game 1. Until Joel Embiid is back on the floor, it's hard to put too much blame on The Beard. In the Western Conference, Luka Doncic was clearly the best player on the floor in Game 1 between the Dallas Mavericks and the Phoenix Suns, but unless he gets more help around him it's hard to envision the Mavs winning the series. Thankfully, if you're a Dallas fan, history tells us that Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie won't play that poorly again in Game 2; the Mavs are clearly still in this series. Finally, FOX Sports Radio 910 Phoenix host Jody Oehler swings by to discuss how Kliff Kingsbury and the Cardinals plan to adjust without Hopkins for the first half of the season, what kind of leverage disgruntled quarterback Kyler Murray has as he looks for a new contract, why Cardinals fans are generally split on Kyler, and much more!
