About this episode

When you want to express your emotions in English you can use emphatic stress. When  we want to express ourselves in a specific way, we can add extra stress to any word in a sentence or question. Emphatic stress or sentence stress is used to emphasize meaning in conversation. When we stress particular words it gives them a different meaning.
