AMY PURDY
About this episode

The second in the four-episode podcast series “We Have a Goal” focuses on promoting peace through sport.

Paralympian Amy Purdy is joined by three inspiring IOC Young Leaders: Sophia Papamichalopoulos, OLY (Cyprus), Waleed Abu Nada (Jordan) and Elena Mercedes Haro Lima (Guatemala). They discuss how, through using sport as a catalyst, their IOC Young Leader projects contribute to peacebuilding in their respective communities. Their inspirational stories bring to life how sport can play a powerful role in securing sustainable and peaceful futures for all, which is the global theme of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace 2022.
