Bücher reisen nicht nur in Paketen um die Welt. Sie berichten auch von Reisen um die Welt – und das schon seit Jahrtausenden. Dabei ist der Begriff „Reiseliteratur“ sehr umfassend. Nur Reiseführer gehören nicht dazu. 

Sie war die erste Bergbahn Europas: die Zahnradbahn auf die Rigi in der Schweiz. Die Technik ermöglichte es, auf dem kürzesten Weg den Gipfel zu erreichen – und das schon im 19. Jahrhundert. 

Die meisten Jugendlichen gehen sehr gern ins Kino. Aber wie entsteht ein Film? Worauf muss man achten? Manche Schulen in Deutschland bieten Arbeitsgemeinschaften an, um Schüler an das Filmemachen heranzuführen.
