Whether you were navigating the pandemic as a seasoned nurse, new grad, or nursing student these past two years we’ve all worked and learned through uncharted territory. In this episode we’re excited to welcome our very first ER nurse on the podcast, Nikki Alvarez! Nikki graduated nursing school in 2019 and dove right into being an ER nurse in New York City. With COVID hitting Manhattan hard, Nikki shares her experience having her fellowship cut short, navigating the pandemic, and discovering a whole new appreciation for her career as an ER nurse.
