On today's episode, Jason and Producer Rob G kicks things off with a recap of a wild weekend of games in the NCAA Tournament. Even as the officiating became a key talking point in several contests (Arizona-TCU, Purdue-Texas, North Carolina-Baylor), the fact remains that we had some high-level basketball take place over the weekend. What's more, less than 72 hours after Gonzaga big man Chet Holmgren staked his claim to be the #1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, Duke's Paolo Banchero put on such a show against Michigan State that our fearless leader is now comparing him to a young LeBron James. Here's to hoping that we get to see these two square off in the Final Four in a few weeks. Later, the guys do a deep dive into the Cleveland Browns' acquisition of embattled quarterback Deshaun Watson. Not only did the Browns give up a boatload of draft capital for their new franchise quarterback, but they also gave him the richest fully-guaranteed contract in NFL history. The fact that Watson got this mega-deal while he still has 22 sexual assault lawsuits hanging over his head has some up in arms, but the harsh reality is the NFL is a business first and foremost. So long as guys like Watson can perform at a high level, teams (and fans) will look the other way when it comes off-field transgressions and issues of morality.
