In this week's episode, we invite Qari Ahmed Burhan, a Somali American Quran reciter. Many of you likely recognize him as the first-place award winner in the 2018 Dubai International Quran competition, where he became the first American to win this prestigious award.

In this discussion, we discuss his upbringing and how he held onto the Quran and the deen in the midst of living as a young American man. He shares his insights on the importance of healthy and good role models and what parents could do to foster this growth. He shares how he memorized 15 Juz in one month! How barakah has come into his life through undergoing this journey and his personal hopes and aspirations for the youth as a teacher, mentor, and brother.
