In 2007 US forces were part of a NATO collation in Afghanistan. Among the division stationed there was the 101st Airborne. Dog Company, part of the division, was led by Captain Roger Hill. His experience in Afghanistan was chronicled in the book Dog Company and today he sits down w/ Dr. Hirsch alongside his good friend and former guest, Lieutenant Colonel Erhan Bedestani.
