Georgia Finally Gets It Done, You Can't ...

iHeartPodcasts
About this episode

On today's episode, Jason and Producer Rob G share their thoughts on the University of Georgia's thrilling victory over the University of Alabama in the College Football Playoff national championship game. Stetson Bennett made a few clutch plays late for the Dawgs offense, and the Georgia defense harassed Heisman winner Bryce Young all night. However, given that Alabama lost their top two wide receivers in their last 3 games, is it really fair to blame Young for the Crimson Tide's inability to put up points? These were two evenly matched teams so naturally Young losing his top two weapons on the outside was going to play a bigger role that most would expect. Later, the guys dive deep into the Miami Dolphins peculiar decision to fire head coach Brian Flores on Black Monday. There had been very little public speculation from any reputable reporter regarding any disconnect between Flores and the Dolphins front office - so what gives? How much did Flores' mismanagement of Tua Tagovailoa have to do with it? Did Dolphins owners Stephen Ross already have a replacement in mind? We'll find out soon enough.
